I'm sure I speak for all your friends here when I say I am amazed by your dedication to this race and I know it will pull your through to the finish line. A huge accomplishment and one you should be incredibly proud of. We'll be there to cheer you on!

it's been a couple of years since i ran a marathon, so i am always impressed when someone tackles one. it's not just the marathon itself, it's the months of training, getting up at 5am to run, or whatever. good luck.

Good luck, Chris. Show’em we don’t all run like girls. ;-)

blisters? black toe nails? muscle tears?

I remember reading a sports medicine doc's comment about marathons -- "I have patients who come in and say, 'I injured myself in a marathon.' I tell them that a marathon is an injury."

Hope you weathered the injury (to mind or body) well.
